Why we built this series

When lockdowns pushed every classroom online, many of us jumped into video calls without learning the platform itself. The result? Lost recordings, stray files and students who never got the link. To fix that, we recorded six laser-focused Hindi tutorials that guide you from your very first Microsoft-Teams login all the way to automated grading.

Below you’ll find a story-style walkthrough of every episode—each section ends with the video embed so you can watch exactly when you need the demo.

Chapter 1 – Your Digital Gateway

Video 1: Sign Up in 3 Minutes

The adventure starts with the simplest but most confusing step—creating an account without falling for fake links. We show you how to use any Gmail or Outlook ID, verify by SMS, and claim the free licence Microsoft is pushing after Skype’s sunset.

Chapter 2 – One Class, Many Subjects

Video 2: Build an E-Classroom with Elective Channels

Now that you have an account, let’s transform an empty Team into a real campus corridor. Imagine a single “FY B.Com 2025” Team that splits into Hindi, Accounts and Economics channels—each visible only to the students who enrolled. Less spam, more focus.

Teacher Tip
Use private channels for language electives so you can invite guest lecturers without exposing entire-class chat history.

Chapter 3 – Bell Rings Automatically

Video 3: Schedule a Meeting

No more WhatsApp broadcasts at 8:59 AM. In this lesson you’ll create calendar invites that drop directly onto everyone’s phone and laptop, complete with reminders and lobby security. One click, class begins.

Chapter 4 – Managing the Crowd

Video 4: Add / Remove Members & Change Roles

Every semester new faces walk in and graduates walk out. You’ll learn to bulk-add freshers with a join code, promote a trusted co-teacher to Owner, and quietly remove that student who switched streams—while keeping their past submissions for audit.

Chapter 5 – Pick the Perfect Blueprint

Video 5: Class, PLC, Staff or Other?

Teams offers four templates, each unlocking a different toolbox. Choose Class if you need gradebooks, PLC for teacher peer-learning, Staff for admin chatter, and Other for clubs or hackathons. Selecting the right type today saves hours of re-work tomorrow.

Chapter 6 – The Teacher’s Swiss-Knife

Video 6: Assignments, Grades & OneNote Class Notebook

Here we open the treasure chest that appears only when you picked the Class template in Chapter 5. Set timed quizzes, mark them with rubrics, and watch scores auto-populate the Grades tab. Students get gentle nudges; you get Excel exports for the exam cell.

Student Hack
The OneNote Class Notebook created here gives you a private page visible only to you and your teacher—perfect for doubt-clearing without public embarrassment.
