Abhishek Vikas Chavan Son Of an Cane-Cutting Laborer Described The Importance Of Free School Bus
Abhishek is a student from a remote area. His parents are sugarcane cutting workers. To complete his education from 5th to 8th grade, which is a total of four years, he walked the 6 kilometers from his home to school every day. When he had the opportunity to provide feedback about the free school bus service, he shared his thoughts as follows:
For four years, I counted each day, enduring rain, sun, mud, cold, and thorns that pricked my feet on the way, because my dream since childhood has been to become successful through education, a dream shared by my parents as well. This year, I have entered the 9th grade, which requires me to focus more on my studies. With the introduction of the free school bus service, all my difficulties have been resolved, and I now have enough time for my studies. Therefore, I thank the institution and promise to excel in my studies, making both my school and my parents proud.
“With the help of generous donors, Satyashodhak Mahila Vikas Mandal, has started a free school bus service for students from underprivileged backgrounds. However, we also sincerely request you to consider contributing Rs. 300 per student per month to support this project financially.”
अभिषेक हा दुर्गम भागातील विद्यार्थी आहे.त्याचे पालक ऊसतोड कामगार आहेत. त्याने इयत्ता 5 वी ते 8 वी चे शिक्षण म्हणजे तब्बल चार वर्षांचे शिक्षण घेण्यासाठी आपल्या घरापासून ते शाळेपर्यंत असलेले 6 किलोमिटर चे अंतर पायी चालत जाऊन पूर्ण केले आहे.जेव्हा त्याला मोफत स्कूल बद्दल अभिप्राय नोंदविण्याची संधी मिळाली तेव्हा त्याने आपला अभिप्राय पुढीलप्रमाणे नोंदविला :
चार वर्षे मी एक एक दिवस मोजत काढले,पाऊस ,उन ,चिखल ,थंडी ,रस्त्यात पायाला टोचनारे काटे हे सर्व सहन केले,कारण शिकून खूप मोठे व्हायचे हेच माझे बालपणापासून स्वप्न आहे,आणि हेच स्वप्न आई वडिलांनी देखील बघितले आहे.आणि या वर्षी मी इयत्ता 9 वी मध्ये प्रवेश केला आहे,त्यामुळे मला अभ्यासात अधिक लक्ष देणे गरजेचे आहे,आणि अशात आपण मोफत स्कूल बस ची सुविधा दिल्याने माझ्या सगळ्या अडचणी दूर झाल्या आहेत,आणि मला अभ्यासालाही पुरेसा वेळ मिळत आहे,त्यामुळे मी आपल्या संस्थेचे आभार मानतो,आणि खूप खूप शिकून आपल्या शाळेचे,आणि पालकांचे नाव उज्वल करेल अशी ग्वाही देतो.
सर्व देणगीदारांच्या मदतीने सत्यशोधक महिला विकास मंडळ मार्फत दारिद्र्यरेषेखालील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी मोफत स्कूलबस सुरू करण्यात आली आहे. तरी आपण सुद्धा रुपये 300/- प्रति विद्यार्थी प्रति महिना देऊन ह्या प्रकल्पात मोलाचा हातभार लावावा हीच सदिच्छा.
